Park and Party with EdgeGuides
EdgeGuides is thrilled to be collaborating with What’s Up Downunder to bring an exciting lineup of music festivals around Australia to the attention of caravanners and campers.
EdgeGuides is an interactive, free travel website for caravanners and campers, that features local events and travel information for those wanting to travel “like a local around rural Australia”.
Founder Emily Edge said “together with What’s Up Downunder, we are highlighting events so travellers know these events are on and can plan their trips accordingly. This prevents people missing out because they didn’t know an event was coming up and where it was to take place. Too often have I heard from travellers “I should been there two weeks earlier or a month later!”
Some of the current events highlighted by What’s Up Downunder and EdgeGuides are:
- Mitchell Creek Rock N Blues in QLD (September 13-15, 2024)
- Deni Ute Muster in NSW (October 4-5, 2024
- RegFest Wangaratta in VIC (December 6-7, 2024)
- Party in the Paddock in TAS (February 6-9, 2025)
- Bluesfest Byron Bay in NSW (April 17-20, 2025)
These are just a few of the many vibrant music festivals featured on EdgeGuides, many of which offer on-site camping. On EdgeGuides you can learn about what’s on, where it is taking place, and other highlights there might be in that locality to explore.
It is a valuable resource for travellers who might make the festival their destination, or who might discover a fantastic festival to attend while they’re on the road.
EdgeGuides also provides a platform for event organizers, offering them the opportunity to promote their events and utilize a check-in feature to gather valuable attendee information.
An app is next on the agenda. “I hope EdgeGuides can be the go-to platform for finding events in regional and rural areas across Australia, and that it ends up helping a lot of these little rural communities that I love.” Emily said.
