Bendix expands Ultimate 4WD™ range for Ford Ranger

A greater range of braking enhancements from Bendix is now available to suit Ford Ranger XLT, Wildtrack, Sport, Platinum and Raptor models (PY 2022 onwards).

Owners of Australia’s best-selling car for 2023, the Ford Ranger, can now access more Bendix braking solutions for their vehicles, following the expansion of Bendix’s popular Ultimate 4WD™ range this month.

The Bendix product offering now includes high performing Ultimate 4WD™ Sports & Performance Disc Brake Rotors, with front and rear options released to suit XLT, Wildtrack, Sport, Platinum and Raptor models (PY 2022 onwards). These Disc Brake Rotors are also now available for the Volkswagen Amarok from 2022 onwards.

Ultimate 4WD™ Sports & Performance Disc Brake Rotors feature four-wheel-drive specific metallurgy which increases rotor strength at elevated temperatures while also providing high wear resistance – this increases overall rotor durability and reduces the chance of warping when very hot. Other benefits include high efficiency cooling pillars, which have been designed to channel cool air into the rotor, expelling hot air faster and increasing the resistance to thermal cracks.

Even more braking performance in these rotors is achieved through Bendix’s Diamond Tip Slot technology. This feature uses specially designed slots and V-shaped simples on the rotor surface to expel gasses, dirt and water more efficiently.

In other news, Bendix has grown its Ultimate 4WD™ Brake Upgrade Kits for the same Ford Ranger models listed, providing even greater braking performance for these popular vehicles.

Bendix’s Ultimate 4WD™ Brake Upgrade Kits provide all the components to significantly upgrade braking performance in the convenience and efficiency of a kit. The front and rear kits are available to suit vehicles with both standard ride height, and for cars with a 2” suspension lift.

The front kits include two Ultimate 4WD™ Sports & Performance Disc Brake Rotors, a set of Ultimate 4WD™ Brake Pads, a vehicle set of Ultimate Brake Hoses, a litre of heavy-duty brake fluid, a can of Bendix Cleanup, a tube of Ceramasil Lubricant, Bendix rotor wipes, with all contents packaged in a tough 60 litre Bendix Icebox. Rear kit content is similar to the front kit and includes two Ultimate 4WD™ Sports & Performance Disc Brake Rotors, a set of Ultimate 4WD™ Brake Pads and Bendix Cleanup.

More disc brake pads for Isuzu N Series

Bendix has also expanded its range of Protrans™ HD Disc Pads to suit Isuzu NPR and NPS covering 7.5 to 8 tonne variants with 310mm front discs.

ProTrans™ HD disc brake pads are designed for high demand applications and start and stop driving such as what’s experienced by delivery trucks in metro and urban traffic. This range features a heavy-duty formulation designed to cope with the elevated temperatures found during constant braking conditions and under full GVM.

A further benefit of ProTrans™ HD disc brake pads are their low wear performance, leading to extended servicing intervals. And for convenience and ease of installation, all required hardware is included in each kit, making them ‘ready-to-fit’ for technicians.
