CAMPER TRAILER SPOTLIGHT: Goldstream Wing 3

The latest from Goldstream RV has officially taken flight, lifting the bar to a whole new level

The Wing model is where it all began for the Goldstream RV brand over twenty-eight years ago. It was designed to suit the largest of families, and with three different layouts to round out the range, it’s no wonder it still manages to tick so many boxes and stay at the top of the fan favourites list. 

There are so many different models and options to choose from, which means getting your mittens on the perfect camper trailer has never been easier. 

LEGENDARY LAYOUTS

In order to be supremely comfortable touring in a camper trailer, the layout needs to be functional and spacious, which is exactly where the Wing 3 excels. There’s a huge club lounge at the front, a large table and dinette area and a roomy kitchen running down the side of the camper. It will sleep six people with ease and even more with the optional club lounge table at the front.

THE WING 3 ST

If you opt for the Wing 3 ST model, you’ll find yourself basking in the glory camper trailer that’s equipped with an internal shower cubicle and a toilet. This makes it perfect for free camping as it complies with increasing self-sufficiency requirements of many National Parks across the country. 

The front of the camper has a large L-shaped seating area and a dinette seat opposite the table, while the kitchen offers generous bench and preparation space, and comes with 91L fridge, 4-burner stove and of course, a sink. There’s even the option of fitting a full-sized king bed to the front of the van and a 4-way table slide!

WING 2 RL – THE COMPACT CAMPER 

If you’re after a camper that’s a little more compact, have a look at the Wing 2 RL, which has the smallest body of the range. In fact, it’s well suited to modern garage storage capabilities whilst surprisingly still being quite large on the inside. 

It will comfortably seat 4 people around the table, while providing plenty of storage under the seats. Throw in a large size kitchen with more cupboard and bench space than anything else on the market of its size and you’ve got a trailer that will impress the fussiest of family camping enthusiasts.

THE INCLUSIONS OVERHAUL  

Goldstream RV are veterans in the field of camper trailers and caravans. One of the things that have contributed to their longevity in the market is their ability to really understand what their customers want, and continually strive to ensure their product range actually suit their needs right down to a tee.

As testament to the fact, Goldstream RV have completely revamped their entire camper trailer range, right from the standard inclusions on every on-road caravan through to increasing the inclusions and value of every upgrade package available across the range.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE?

You might be thinking, “yeah that’s great, but how does this help me?”. Well, here is an example. The most popular upgrade package in the Goldstream RV range is the Premium Package. Make no mistake, this package has always been the hamburger with the lot! It has been around for roughly four years now, and previously included an 80Watt solar panel. With some keen observation, the Goldstream RV team have noted that the addition of extra solar power has become more and more frequent. So, they have taken the liberty to upgrade the package to contain to 170watts of solar capacity. The same story applies to things like the addition of a gas bayonet fitting, picnic table, stone-guard protector with Mudflaps, bed lights with a fan upgrade, 2 x queen bed upgrade (where possible of course), and even included a provision for an air conditioning unit to be installed.
