For most of us, the thought of travelling and exploring new sites is enough to make our hearts skip a beat with pure excitement. It’ll probably skip a few beats given we’ve been locked indoors for the past few months, and we can all thank Covid 19 for that. But alas, the world is starting to turn again, and while we’re not completely free to travel anywhere we choose, the camping and touring scene is well and truly getting back on track. And guess what? The team at New Age Caravans are chomping at the bit to get you out there again with their Wayfinder 12ft Family camper trailer and their exclusive “Road to Freedom” assistance package. Yep, if there has ever been a time to see Australia, this is it! 

BRIDGING THE GAP 

If you’re new to the whole camper trailer scene, there’s a good chance you’re here for the extra comfort that a good camper trailer offers compared to tent, without the hassle of towing 3 tonne worth caravan, right? Well, you’re in luck because the Wayfinder range seamlessly bridges the gap between the humble tent and a luxury caravan perfectly. In fact, it’s up there with the most comfortable camper trailers in the game.

NEW AND IMPROVED

Now if you’ve seen the Wayfinder camper over the last few years, you’ll notice the latest version, the MY20 Wayfinder brings a fresh update to the model range. The layout has been refined, with updated cabinetry for increased storage. The new MY20 Wayfinder also features a new electrical looming system with less cables running through the wall panels making cable access much easier. A new and improved ABS moulding at the front of the Wayfinder saves weight so you can bring more with you on your trips away. The upgrade packs have also been overhauled and designed to help deliver a more affordable range of packages. Now you can now choose from a Wayfinder Comfort, Comfort Plus, Adventurer or Adventurer Plus pack.

ON THE INSIDE

New Age has managed to fit a huge bench that quite literally stretches most of the way along the inside wall, so there’s no shortage of food preparation space. It also houses the three-burner gas cooktop and stainless steel basin, with a 93-litre three-way fridge and a microwave oven slotted under the benchtop. The rest of the under-bench space is literally available to store everything you need.

Impressively, the Wayfinder manages to incorporate two dining areas for the kids and adults to feast at. There’s a full dinette that will seat two adults comfortably, plus a larger club-lounge for the rest of the tribe. And after some good tucker, there’s two massive full-sized slide out beds to crawl into for a good nights sleep.

Externally, the camper oozes a smart and modern look, which is thanks to the Alucobond aluminium exterior cladding with black Raptor lower body coating and two-tone grey canvas being part of the upgradable package options. The Walkinshaw performance have actually had a heavy hand in the design of this camper. Yes, you read that right. Walkinshaw, the company synonymous with high performance race engineering actually have a stake in New Age Caravans and developed the chassis for the Wayfinder range. You can visually see their automotive influences at the Wayfinder’s rear with the recessed spare wheel and automotive-style tail-lights. 

ROAD TO FREEDOM ASSISTANCE PACKAGE

New Age Caravans is pleased to announce a new offer to get people back onto the road, travelling the country and stimulating local economies. With domestic travel restrictions beginning to ease, The Road to Freedom Assistance Package is aimed at helping get people started with the essentials they need to start travelling.
